We screen for a range of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at our Sexual Health Clinic. With options to screen for the most prevalent infections as well as specific testing for individual infections. Our tests screen for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- HIV
- Hepatitis B
- Trichomoniasis
- Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV)
- Mycoplasma
Even if you are not experiencing any symptoms, we still recommend getting tested. Many STIs can be present without causing symptoms, meaning you can be infected without knowing it.

When is it recommended to get tested?
It is recommended to get tested if:
- You have had unprotected sex
- You have started a new sexual relationship
- You are experiencing symptoms such as pain, itching or discharge
- You would like peace of mind after a risky encounter
Are you not experiencing any symptoms? This does not necessarily mean that you are STI-free. Many STIs cause no symptoms at all, especially in the early stages, but can still be passed on to others and may lead to health complications if left untreated. That’s why it’s important to get tested, even if you do not have any symptoms.
