The following vaccinations are recommended when travelling to Sri Lanka:
DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio), Dengue, Hepatitis A (infectious jaundice), Typhoid fever, Hepatitis B, Rabies, Tuberculosis, Measles, Chikungunya and Japanese Encephalitis.

Some of these vaccinations are always advised, regardless of the length of your stay on Sri Lanka. These are DTP and Hepatitis A. The other vaccination recommendations depend on your health situation, living conditions, length of stay, the areas you visit and the activities you undertake on Sri Lanka.

Yellow fever
Yellow fever does not occur on Sri Lanka but a vaccination is mandatory if you are travelling in from a high-risk country or have been in transit in such a country for more than 12 hours.
