The following vaccinations are recommended when travelling to Saint Helena:
DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio), Hepatitis A (infectious jaundice), Measles, Hepatitis B and Yellow fever.
Some of these vaccinations are always advised, regardless of the length of your stay on Saint Helena. These are DTP and Hepatitis A. The other vaccination recommendations depend on your health situation, living conditions, length of stay, the areas you visit and the activities you undertake on Saint Helena.
Yellow fever
Yellow fever does not occur on Saint Helena but a vaccination is mandatory if you are travelling in from a high-risk country.
